Our artists work in 2D and 3D with a variety of media.
The Los Altos Art Club is a non-profit educational organization founded in 1945. We are dedicated to the personal development of each member artist. Membership includes artists living in the general Los Altos, California Area.
Artists (any medium) of all levels are welcome and can benefit greatly from the programs, demonstrations, art competitions, gallery shows, group exhibitions, and advice from fellow artists in our friendly and supportive group. We also maintain a lending library of art "how to" books, DVDs and videos. View Member Benefits.

April 12 Monthly Meeting (Zoom)
Demo Artist: Robin Scholl
Robin Scholl has been painting in her Los Altos studio and teaching at the Pacific Art League in Palo Alto for more than 30 years. She is known for impressionistic landscapes with a focus on light and color in the natural world. She works from photographs taken during her wide travels and favorite California scenes, using four media: oils, watercolor, watercolor with pastel, and watercolor with gouache. Her signature layered technique builds up the media, creating movement and depth uncommon in watercolors.
