Meetings

When:	Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month, at 7 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
Where:	Hal Brady Room Hillview Community Center 97 Hillview Ave., Los Altos
Who:	We are a group of very friendly people from the general Los Altos area who work in various media. Artists (painters, sculptors, others) of all levels are welcome!
What:	What do our meetings offer? Demonstrations - given by artists in many different media Art Contest - See Events for contest rules and themes. Lending Library - borrow art books, DVD's and videos Refreshments and a chance to socialize with other artists

Monthly Demonstration by a professional artist
Monthly Art Competitions open to all members. Monthly themes are announced in advance and awards are given for first, second and third place winners.
Gallery Shows, including Annual Members Show, and opportunities to Exhibit Your Art Work at local businesses and stores. (See the Exhibits page for upcoming exhibits.)

Group Exhibitions in past years these have been held at Triton Museum, the Los Altos Library, April 2004 & 2005 "Arts Alive" co-sponsored with the Los Altos Village Association (LAVA), and Signature Selections at Main Street Café.
A Unique Library filled with art instruction books, biographies, DVD's and videos.
Social Gatherings provide a chance to meet and mingle with other artists at the Monthly Meeting, a July Social - Pot Luck and the December Holiday Dinner.

Becoming a Member

Membership is $25 per year beginning January 1 for a single membership or $30 for a family membership.
